Abstract

The article discusses the role of the prosecutors office in the assessment and investiga­tion of international crimes committed as a result of Armenias nearly thirty-yer aggression against Azerbaijan. It is noted that there is a need to define a unified legal concept of bringing Armenia to international responsibility in connection with international crimes. The prosecu­tors office has a very serious rolr to play in the development and implementation of this concept. At the heart of the unified legal concept must be the inevitability and importance of liability for aggressiong genocideg crimes against humanity and war crimes, which are dan­gerous types of criminal intent and recognized by the international community as interna­tional crimes.
