09.01.2022

It is known that during the last ten years, the increase in the number and scope of military conflicts, especially in the Middle East region, has resulted in a strong flow of migrants from that region to Europe. As the mass influx to Europe continues, migratory issues have remained relevant. For this reason, migra-tion legislation in European countries has undergone a remarkable devel- opment in recent years and has been rapidly adapted to the geopolitical conditions of the modern era. Also, due to the demand, master's and doctoral programs on Migration Law have been estab- lished in numerous higher education institutions in Europe, and the institutions involved in this field have been studied in more detail. In this article, the mi-gration legislation of seven countries has been researched, the salient features related to the administrative-legal regulation have been

shown. This study did not take into account the current coronavirus pandemic and associated tem- porary rules and restrictions in the world, and therefore, analyzed the migration legislation of the respective countries applied under normal conditions. The migration rules of the countries were studied separately, by the method of analysis, and the legal provisions of several countries were synthesized and common results were determined. Besides, certain differences between the migra- tion laws of various countries have been identified by using the comparative research method. Dur- ing the research, the reference to the legislative sources was based on the use of official electronic databases of normative-legal acts of States, and thus the latest version of the laws was obtained.
