Department for the Organisation of Work with Documents and Applications


The Department for Organisation of Work with Documents and Applications is an independent structural unit of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 
The main duties and functions of the Department: to ensure registration, recording, consideration, direction and improvement of applications, complaints and proposals, criminal cases, materials and other documents received by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and to improve work in this area; consider appeals of citizens in accordance with Article 20 of the Law on the Prosecution Office; to organize reception of citizens in the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan; to ensure non-disclosure of state secrets, protection of state secrets in the prosecutor's office, compliance with the confidentiality regime, confidential office work and archival work in accordance with the law, etc.
The Department has a Citizens' Reception Service, a Division for Preliminary Consideration of Applications and a Confidentiality Service.
