The Scientific-Educational Center is an independent structural unit of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan. 
The main duties and functions of the Center: to carry out the function of organizing training in order to increase the theoretical knowledge and professional training of prosecutors; to involve employees of the prosecution office in taking appropriate training courses in order to improve the necessary professional knowledge and skills, as well as theoretical knowledge and professional training; to arrange trainings to improve the professional training of law enforcement officers and foreign partners, to organize work to improve the professional training of employees working in positions not provided for by special ranks; to perform the scientific and theoretical function; to assist other structural and independent prosecutors in the preparation of methodological literature; to serve as the secretariat of the Scientific Advisory Board and the Commission on Ethical Conduct; to ensure the publication of periodical scientific and practical journals, etc.
The Center has its own seal, stamps, letterheads reflecting its name in the prescribed form.
